The container you supplied for the transportation of my very precious items and memories of a lifetime spent in Africa was faulty and leaked water in, and so the damage, fungus, mildew and mould are shocking and many things are completely ruined.
Mrs Lesley Stevens,( who was moving goods from Harare, Zimbabwe, via the port of Beira in Mocambique to London Gateway.)

Dear Mrs Stevens.. thank you for your feedback however you did not book or ship this container through our company. You booked your shipment with an Harare, Zimbabwe agent who then asked us to take care of the UK side. Our job was to customs clear, deliver and unload the container at your home which we did. It is unfair to blame our company for the damage sustained to your effects. We have on your behalf been in contact with your Harare agent who we understand is pursuing a claim with the shipping line for possibly having supplied a fault shipping container. We sympathise with your damages but this was not in our control. Kind regards Paul

The service and help I received was first class and I don’t say that lightly I have all ready recommend you to friends and where could you get an item of 100kg picked up Tuesday 5 am in the UK and delivered the following Thursday in the USA yes your company well done

We have dealt with Paul and the team on a few occasions and have always received a great service, always being kept informed of any developments. Back up and technical support is always available at the end of the phone and even through visits to their facilities.

The service from UK was very good no complaints.
Kenya airlines were a disappointment boxes were damaged a couple of items damaged and my boxes did not arrive on time also boxes were kept being left at the stopover airport. hopefully i will not have to deal with again.

I did not deal with Worldwide Shipping & Airfreight for the entire process of shipping my personal effects from Zimbabwe to the U.K., but when I had queries regarding the delivery of my items to my address in the U.K. my emails were attended to reasonably quickly.

The actual delivery was on the date advised, but it would have been helpful to know what the approximate expected arrival time would have been. A fragile leather handle on an old trunk was broken despite it being covered over with a notice to not use the handle. This may not have been the fault of this company as there were others involved in the shipping process. However, I would use their services again

Unreliable and overcharged you for services they didn’t provide

Dear Mrs Phipps,

Thank you for your response. I am sorry you feel unhappy with the service provided by Worldwide Shipping & Airfreight Ltd.

Your quotation was based on us receiving your cargo at our Heathrow depot, to clear UK customs and fly up to the arrival airport Kingston, Jamaica. Prior to the booking being made with us on the 18th December you requested the ETA for the cargo in Kingston, we explained that since this was over the Christmas period we could not guarantee when the goods would arrive due to larger number of passengers travelling back to Jamaica over the holidays. Airlines prioritise passenger luggage over freight. (your effects were classed as freight since they are unaccompanied) Usually this does not cause a problem other than certain times of the year.. More passengers, more luggage (probably lots of xmas presents). Until passengers check in the airline do not know how much luggage there will be.

We assure you that you were not over charged. The price paid was as per our quotation. Please let us know why you think you were over charged.

I used worldwide shipping to send all my belongings when I moved to south America. This was the only company that offered the basic service I wanted at an affordable price. I never had any problems and their customer service was excellent. Many similar companies no longer accept private individuals and refer you to companies with ‘relocation’ services that charge 5 times more. For this reason, I say thank you worldwide!
